Sainik School Kalikiri celebrated 72nd Republic Day with great reverence to all the freedom fighters. The Offg. Principal and the chief guest of the occasion Lt Col SK Mahapatro along with the first lady of the campus Mrs Geeta Mahapatro was extended a warm welcome by Admin Officer Major Pankaj Sharma. The Chief Guest unfurled the tricolor followed by general salute by the gathering. The Offg Principal said that everyone must be a stake holder and work hard to uphold the rich heritage, culture and values of the nation. He said that constitution is not just a rule to follow but it is way for social transformation and it is every individual’s responsibility to be abided by the fundamental duties. He urged the staff to strive for the pinnacle of morale in the character and concluded hoping that the school would stride its best foot forward in its quest to nurture future leaders. The celebrations concluded with national anthem.
